About Us

We are a team of clinicians, developers, designers and yappers who are passionate about making allied health more accessible for Australian families.

Our Story

After nearly 10 years working as a 'speechie' in rural Australia,
Yarn's founder, Bec, was exhausted.
She had seen firsthand the effects long wait times and wait lists
can have on Australian speech pathologists and families.
From inequitable access to services to limited resources,
she decided to do something about it.
That's how Yarn was born!
We are a social enterprise that is dedicated to being part of the
solution to the challenges faced by speech pathologists
and their patients across Australia.
