Every single activity is grounded in speech pathology research and clinical expertise tested through extensive pilot trials with real Australian families.
We worked directly with parents and clinicians to ensure each game delivers evidence-based langauge support while being fun and engaging for little ones.
Smart Screen Time
We understand that screen time for young children can be a worry for parents and educators. We feel the same with our little ones.
Research shows that there are safe screen time windows for children and that prioritising educational content in these times is beneficial to communication development.
That's why Yarn requires active parent participation to take screen time from passive watching, to active learning.
Support When you Need it Most
We are well aware of the long waiting times for speech in Australia. Yarn is here for you to use between getting a referral and seeing a speechie. We don't replace the speech pathologist; we are complementary.
Clinician Approved
Speech pathologists can confidently refer families to Yarn, knowing they're providing evidence-based support. Instead of managing impossible waitlists with nothing to offer, clinicians finally have a trusted resource for families.
